Where to put the phone

Face the phone, whole body and both hands in frame. Stand upright against the wall first, then slide down until your thighs are about parallel.

What banks time

Time banks while the seated position holds. Rising out of it pauses the clock.

What doesn’t count

If your hips rise above your knees, your hands touch your thighs or your feet move, the timer pauses. Banked seconds stay.

One tip

Cross your arms over your chest and keep your hands off your thighs.

After the set

Every set ends with the same recap: seconds held, time, the longest run, pauses, whether the second half held up, and the camera angle the phone actually saw. Detail beyond the movement’s own rules is measured for the recap, never used to refuse time. Why we count and do not grade →
