Jumping Jacks

Arm + leg abduction. A rep movement: a completed cycle counts.

Where to put the phone

Face the phone, whole body and both hands in frame, with room for your hands overhead.

What closes a rep

Jump out with the arms overhead, jump back to feet together and arms down. The rep closes with the feet together.

What doesn’t count

Feet and arms both have to open wide. A half jack with the arms low, or a slow step-out, is refused, not counted.

One tip

A common movement-snack pick: nothing needed but standing room.

After the set

Every set ends with the same recap: reps counted, time, pace, the longest run, pauses, whether the second half held up, and the camera angle the phone actually saw. Detail beyond the movement’s own rules is measured for the recap, never used to refuse a rep. Why we count and do not grade →
